Adult Pottery Workshop at Three Leaf Farm in Lafayette, Colorado

Part 1 - Sunday, June 23 9am-1pm | Part 2 - Monday, July 1, 5:30-7:30pm

Join me in a serene setting at Three Leaf Farm in Lafayette, CO, for a 2-part pottery workshop to make a series of hand-built dishes using physical impressions of herbs, flowers and other found-in-nature objects. With a few tips and tools, learn the basics of rolling out clay slabs and decorating techniques using natural items and found materials. During the first day we will hand-build 3-5 dishes using various textures and patterns. During the second, shorter session we will discuss various decorative color applications and glaze our dishes. Pots will be fired by the instructor after each class and available for pick up 1 week after final class date. We will be using mid-fire cone 5 clay and a variety of food-safe glazes. No experience is needed and all materials will be provided.
