Textured Flower Vases, 2-part workshop

Adult Pottery Workshop at Three Leaf Farm in Lafayette, Colorado

Part 1 - Sunday, July 20 9am-1pm | Part 2 - Wednesday, July 31, 5:30-7:30pm

Join me in a lovely setting at Three Leaf Farm for a 2-day pottery workshop to explore textures and patterns in clay. We will create unique, functional flower vases using nature as inspiration. With a few tips and tools, you will learn the basic techniques of constructing a hand-built vessel using clay slabs. During the first day we will assemble our vessels using various textures and patterns with both natural items and found materials. During the second, shorter session we will discuss various decorative color applications and glaze our vases. Pots will be fired by the instructor after each class and available for pick up 1 week after final class date. We will be using mid-fire cone 5 clay and a variety of food-safe glazes. No experience is needed and all materials will be provided.
